Summer 2023 Musical Now Available for Enrollment!
Rock of Ages: Teen Edition!
Are you ready to ROCK YOUR SUMMER? STC is holding a summer musical workshop, cumulating in a performance of ROCK OF AGES: Teen Edition! Come join this rocking musical and work with YPC Program Manager, Miranda D. Lawson to take us back to the 80’s and the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical features the hits of bands including Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister and others. Students will receive individualized, professional vocal, acting, and dance training from professional, local teaching artists and teaching artists from across the country.
Rock of Ages: Teen Edition is for rising 8th graders through 12th graders and 2023 high school graduates. This production will rehearsal from June 19th through July 20th, with performances July 20th-23rd. Rehearsals will take place Mondays-Fridays from 12:00-5:00pm. Students will audition for specific roles during the 1st week of rehearsal. Students will work together to create costumes, sets, props, and marketing materials, garnering them a fully-rounded theater experience.

2023-2024 Youth Series Auditions Coming Soon!
STC’s School of the Arts Productions are led by professional directors and actors and offer students the experience of participating in a fully-produced musical or play with sets, costumes, and lighting on either the STC Main Stage or the STC Pollock Stage. Students learn warm-up techniques, theatre etiquette, vocal projection, diction, singing, dancing, and acting, as well as collaboration skills as they work together to tell great stories.
