Playing on the STC Mainstage through May 18, Forum brings together a cast of nationally-recognized actors, along with several local favorites, in what is perhaps the funniest musical farce ever written. Marcus Crowder of the Sacramento Bee describes Michael R.J. Campbell, 2013 Sacramento News and Review‘s 2013 Best Local Actor winner and star of the show, in this way: “Campbell has always been a larger-than-life actor with a full, warm singing voice, and the bustling, hustling, gag-filled Pseudolus feels written for him.” The singing throughout the cast is “first-rate,” and the show runs like a “well-maintained machine.”
