Box Office Policies
The first four performances of each Main Series production, as well as the Holiday show, are preview performances. Previews are public performances preceding the official opening that allow the director and crew to identify problems and opportunities for improvement that weren’t found during the audience-free rehearsals. Ticket prices are reduced during the preview period.
Pollock Stage & Cabaret Stage Seating
Please note that all seating in the Pollock Stage and the Cabaret Stage is general admission, first-come, first served seating, at the discretion of STC House Management. Seating opens approximately one hour before the performance.
Latecomers will be seated at the first appropriate interval determined by the house manager. Please be advised that for some productions, there is no late seating due to the nature of the play.
Cameras and Recording Devices
Recording devices of any kind are not permitted in our theatres due to union regulations.
Children under four (4) years of age, including babies in arms, are not permitted in STC’s theatres. Any disruptive behavior will merit a request for the child to be taken out of the seating area.
Special Seating & Accommodations
STC offers special arrangements to our patrons with disabilities. Please inform the Box Office of any special needs when placing your order.
Sorry, tickets are non-refundable.
STC offers complimentary exchanges for subscribers. A fee of $2.00 per ticket will apply to exchanges made by single ticket buyers. STC requires 24 hours notice for any exchange requests. Requests may be made by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the Exchange Line at (916)446-7501 ext 108. Exchanges will require the original purchaser’s name, phone number, and/or email address, date of performance, number of tickets, and desired alternate performance. Patrons will receive a confirmation of their exchange by email or return telephone call. STC reserves the right to refuse requests made less than 24 hours in advance of the original performance time.
Subscription Handling Fee: A $5.00 per order handling fee applies to all subscription purchases.
Mailing Fee: A $5.00 per order mailing fee applies to all mailed individual ticket purchases. Tickets can be held at Will Call for pickup for no charge.
Online Convenience Fee: A $1.50 per ticket convenience fee applies to tickets purchased at tickets.sactheatre.org.
All ticket prices include a $2.50 per ticket Facility Fee and a $.50 per ticket Restoration Fee.
