Senior Tickets – Senior tickets are available at a reduced rate to individuals age 65 or older.
Student Tickets – Student tickets are available at a reduced rate to children and college students with a valid student ID.
Military Tickets – Tickets are available to active or retired members of the United States Armed Forces at a reduced rate with a valid ID.
Group Tickets – Groups of 10 or more may purchase tickets at a discounted rate. Check out our group sales page or contact the Group Sales at GroupSales@sactheatre.org for more details.
Rush Tickets – $20 rush tickets go on sale 30 minutes prior to show time. Rush tickets may only be purchased in-person at the STC Box Office and are based on availability.

Gift Certificates – Share the gift of live theatre with friends and family. Gift certificates are available in any denomination and may be used for ticket purchases to available performances. Gift certificates may be purchased by calling or visiting the STC Box Office, or online at tickets.sactheatre.org.
Preview Performances – The first four performances of each Main Series production, as well as the Holiday Show, are preview performances. Previews are public performances preceding the official opening that allow the director and crew to identify problems and opportunities for improvement that weren’t found during the audience-free rehearsals. Ticket prices are often reduced during the preview period.
Prologue Series – Join us for our free Prologue Series in the Lobby 45 minutes before each regularly scheduled subscription performance of Main Series productions (excludes the Holiday Show), where you’ll learn more about the play, the author(s), and the production you are about to see.

Ticket Exchanges – STC offers complimentary exchanges for subscribers. A fee of $2.00 per ticket will apply to exchanges made by single ticket buyers. STC requires 24 hours notice for any exchange requests. Requests may be made by email at exchanges@sactheatre.org or by calling the Exchange Line at (916)446-7501 ext 108. Exchanges will require the original purchaser’s name, phone number, and/or email address, date of performance, number of tickets, and desired alternate performance.
Patrons will receive a confirmation of their exchange by email or return telephone call. STC reserves the right to refuse requests made less than 24 hours in advance of the original performance time.
Fees
Subscription Handling Fee – A $5.00 per order handling fee applies to all subscription purchases.
Mailing Fee – A $5.00 per order mailing fee applies to all mailed individual ticket purchases. Tickets can be held at Will Call for pickup for no charge.
Online Convenience Fee – A $1.50 per ticket convenience fee applies to tickets purchased at tickets.sactheatre.org.
All Main Stage and Pollock Stage ticket prices include a $2.50 per ticket Facility Fee and a $.50 per ticket Restoration Fee.
