The Spongebob Musical: A Summer Musical Spectacular

The Spongebob Musical is a summer musical experience open to all 9th-12th grade students (grade in Fall 2022).

It is a 5-week program that encompasses:

  • Auditioning/Casting
  • Rehearsal Process
  • Production Meetings
  • Set/Lighting/Costume Design
  • Behind the Scene Production Experience

Students will have a fully immersive theatrical experience and learn what it takes to put on a great show! Auditions are not necessary to join; casting will take place within the first week of classes as part of the auditioning classes. All roles are open, and all roles are open to any gender.

This summer program is 5-weeks long, June 20th through July 24th. Classes/Rehearsals are Monday through Friday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, and performances are July 21st through 24th (open to the public). All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Eagle Theatre in Old Sacramento. Students must commit to all 5 weeks of rehearsal and performance.

In order to reserve your spot in the program, you must pay $400 of the enrollment fee. There will be an additional $100 materials fee due by the first day of the program that helps to pay for the costume, set, props, and other production materials that will be needed to teach the students how to build the technical side of a show.
