Synopsis

Join us for this introduction to Tap with Ryan Blanning where you will explore the basics of tap technique. We hope you’ll dance along with us for this brand new class!

 

Classes take place on Saturdays from 10:00-11:00am at Sacramento Theatre Company. Classes begin on July 31st and ends on September 4th with a final performance for friends and family. The full 6-week session is $175, and you will need to bring your own tap shoes.

About Ryan Blanning:

Ryan Blanning has been moving his feet since the age of eight years old. He started with Clogging and Irish at Galena Street East, and was trained starting at the age of 14 in Tap Dancing by the likes of Ron Cisneros, Christine Horn Martorana, and Debbie Wilson. He has choreographed at Sacramento Theatre Company, Green Valley Theatre Company, Flying Monkey Productions, and El Dorado High School.  Regional: Ghost of Christmas Past (A Christmas Carol), Patrick Dolan (Meet Your Mountain), Buttons (Cinderella), Ross Gardner (Visiting Mr. Green), Samuel (Pirates of Penzance), Don Lockwood (Singin In The Rain), Dr. Carrasco/Duke (Man of La Mancha), Edgar Allen Poe (Nevermore), Riff Raff (Rocky Horror).  He is a proud member of AEA.
