Synopsis

We take very seriously your health and safety and the health and safety of our performers. We have closely followed all of the updates regarding COVID-19, and to protect both you and our actors and staff, we have made the difficult decision that the remainder of our 2019-2020 Main Series and Cabaret Series performances will be cancelled. This includes Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, The Room Where It Happens: Broadway’s Modern Musical, and A Little Night Music. March 13 was our final performance of HamletFor more information regarding tickets that were already purchased, and our School of the Arts, click here.

Adapted from Ingmar Bergman’s Smiles of a Summer Night, this elegant musical whisks theatergoers away to Sweden in the year 1900.  The story explores a tangled web of affairs amongst the fading diva Desirée Armfeldt, the men who love her, their jealous wives, and everyone who finds themselves alongside them for a weekend in the country. The enticing sparkle of new romances and second chances brings endless surprises throughout this sophisticated work that features the famed song “Send in the Clowns” and a masterful score of enchanting Sondheim waltzes.
