Saturday Acting Classes: 1st Grade through High School

STC’s Acting Classes allow students to tap into their imaginations by starting a lifelong relationship with theatre. In a nurturing, non-competitive atmosphere, students gain self-confidence while increasing skills in public speaking and cooperation. With a concentration on character development, improvisation, and the rehearsal process, classes may incorporate theatre games, scene study, monologue work, and audition techniques for students with all levels of experience. Sessions culminate in a presentation for family and friends.

Saturday Classes for the 2022-2023 Season are closed. Classes for the 2023-2024 Season will be posted in the Summer.

Homeschool Theatre Classes

Classes will meet once a week for skills-based training in acting via a professional performer and director.

Our classes concentrate on character development, improvisation, & the rehearsal process while also fulfilling state standards and creating a safe and fun environment to build to learn and play.

Sacramento Theatre Company is a vendor at most charter schools in the region and classes can be paid for either out-of-pocket or with your homeschool vouchers. Contact education@sactheatre.org for questions.

Classes for the 2023-2024 Season will be posted in the Summer.
