Sacramento Theatre Company Announces 77th Season of WHO, WHAT & WHERE
Sacramento Theatre Company has announced its Main Series productions for the 2021-2022 77th Anniversary Season of WHO, WHAT & WHERE.
We kick off our Season in October with our biggest WHO: a REGIONAL PREMIERE of Gloria: A Life written by Emily Mann and directed by Natasha Hause and starring Jamie Jones as Gloria Steinem. For the holidays, STC will bring back their popular adaptation of A Christmas Carol, starring Matt K. Miller as Ebenezer Scrooge. In the Winter, we will focus on our biggest WHERE being Pittsburgh in August Wilson’s Fences. STC will finish the season with the biggest WHAT, the mysteriously funny Clue: The Musical, based on the Parker Brothers’ board game. Written by Peter DePietro, with music by Galen Blum, Wayne Barker and Vinnie Martucci and Lyrics by Tom Chiodo, Clue: The Musical is sure to thrill with twists and turns at every corner.
In addition to our Main Series, our popular Cabaret Series and Youth Series return for the season. Additionally, it is with great excitement that we announce our new Concert Series! This new series, debuting in February 2022, will bring you three musicals in concert on our Mainstage including Gilbert & Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore.
Subscription packages for our Main Series (excluding A Christmas Carol) and our Cabaret Series will go on sale in August. Single tickets for all shows go on sale September 1. Subscribers will have the opportunity to purchase advance tickets to A Christmas Carol before tickets go on sale to the general public.
