STC’s Main Stage might be shut down for the summer but the dedicated staff and supporters of STC are buzzing with excitement as the summer months bring new opportunities to connect with our educational opportunities.
In April, we held our annual Education Fundraiser Curtains Up and our big funding goal was to fund the upgrades to our loft rehearsal space that had been started in 2016. Through support from our STC family and our project manager/YPC Program Manager, Miranda D. Lawson, this long-awaited dream has been realized and we’re thrilled to share the results.

Our loft will serve as a multipurpose studio space for rehearsal, classes, and various other activities for the theatre.

First up! Our Acting for Adults class taught by Associate Artist Natasha Hause that starts June 8 will christen the newly renovated space.
This summer downtime gives us more opportunities to improve the STC facility. If you would like to play a part of renovations, consider making a donation to STC today! Your support of our events is critical to the fundraising efforts at STC and benefits everything you see and experience on our stages and in our School of the Arts.
