Sense and Sensibility Special Event

Join us for a free special event with our Sense and Sensibility Community Partner, the Sacramento Public Library on October 11. Enjoy a Regency fashion show, panel discussion, and performances. The event is East Meeting Room of the Sacramento Public Library (Enter on 9th & I) , and light refreshments will be served. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Meet the Panel

Stephenee Borelli is a librarian with the Sacramento Public Library. She holds masters degrees in both Library and Information Science and English and manages Central Library’s literature collection. Stephenee organized the library’s ‘How Austnetatious’  program series and the annual Jane Austen Birthday Tea. She’s the  founder of the Greater Sacramento Chapter of the Jane Austen Society of North America.

Michael Laun was Bitten by the theatre bug at the age of 13 when he saw Carol Channing in Hello Dolly, Michael began working professionally in the theatre at 19 and has never looked back. He brings both a strong management background and an artistic creativity to his job as Executive Producing Director. This is Michael’s 10th  season at STC.

Jessica Minnihan is Sacramento Theatre Company’s resident costume designer and has also created costumes for Walt Disney World Entertainment, Music Circus, Des Moines Metro Opera, B Street Theatre, and KOLT Run Creations.

Carrie Sessarego is a writer, activist, library volunteer and musician with a seriously out-of-control reading habit. Her blog is Geek Girl in Love where geekdom, love and politics embrace. Carrie is the author of Pride, Prejudice and Popcorn: TV and Film Adaptations of Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre.
