Synopsis

This new dramatization of C.S. Lewis’ classic story, set in the land of Narnia, faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of the great lion Aslan, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. The intense action features chases, duels, and escapes as the witch tries to keep Narnia in her possession and to end the reign of Aslan.

Performed by STC School of the Arts Pre-Professional Ensemble and Young Professional Conservatory students, this story of love, faith, courage and giving–with its triumph of good over evil–is a true celebration of life.

The Ensemble program serves students ages 8-14 and culminates in a full-length production on STC’s stages. These workshops, taught by professional directors & actors, offer students the experience of participating in a fully-produced musical with sets, costumes, and lighting, as well as performance and collaboration skills as they work together to tell great stories.
